Atlas Copco promotes modernization of the defense engineering construction
Recently, an Atlas Copco ROC D7 RRC hydraulic wireless remote control surface drill rig and an Boomer 352E face drilling rig have been put into use in the construction of defense project undertaken by the engineering troops of an army group in China, which substantially promotes the operating efficiency of officers and soldiers and improves the operating conditions. Therefore, such two drilling rigs won their high praise.
Atlas Copco Boomer 352E face drilling rig adopts hydraulically controlled drilling system and the BUT 35 heavy drill boom equipped make position rapidly, directly, and accurately in switching between two holes; the combination of COP 1838 hydraulic rock drill and DCS 18 hydraulic drilling system make the drilling rig simple in operation and convenient in maintenance; the automatic anti-jamming function Rotation Pressure Controlled Feed (RPCF) makes drilling more easily and the consumption of the drilling rig lower. Commander Guo of the army group said: “Since application of the advanced equipment of Atlas Copco, our construction capability has been improved to a great extent. For example, we just spent one or two hours finishing more than 100 holes in one section.”
It is learnt that there have been multiple Atlas Copco equipment applied in the defense engineering construction, which vastly promotes its degree of the automation and modernization. Therefore, such kind of equipments has become the multiplier for the defense engineering construction.
