Atlas Copco’s new technology in the dimension stone industry on 2016 Xiamen Stone Fair
March 8, 2016, Xiamen, China: Atlas Copco released its new state-of-the-art technology in the dimension stone industry (DSI) at the Xiamen International Stone Fair from March 6 to 9, 2016.
SpeedROC D30 is a down-the-hole drill rig. It’s capable of drilling straight, vertical and horizontal holes that enable wire cutting and horizontal holes with a ground clearance. SpeedROC 2F, a robust and versatile drill rig from Atlas Copco, specially designed for the DSI. The big advantage of this rig is its high productivity provided by a 360-degree coverage area, long boom reach, flexible drilling capacity, fast positioning and high tramming stability. The all-round coverage saves time when positioning the rig while the long, rotatable boom is perfectly suited to both bench drilling and block dressing. Equipped with two well proven hydraulic rock drills, the SpeedROC 2F can give high productivity and reduce cost. Both new products represent Atlas Copco’s latest technology in DSI, and they attracted great attention from the visitors at the exhibition.
