Atlas Copco holds a successful 2016 annual meeting for area distributors
Guilin, China, January 11, 2016: the annual meeting for area distributors of Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Technique was successfully held in Guilin, where over 40 representatives of area distributors were present.
General Manager Freddy Man said, "We believe that working together will certainly enable us to uncover new opportunities in a wintry market and usher in new growth in the spring."
As the Chinese mining sector remained sluggish in 2015, finding ways of identifying new opportunities in adversity was a major topic of this meeting. As China ramps up infrastructure investment and steadily rolls out strategies such as the "One Belt One Road" vision (of interlinking Eurasia by land and sea), the overall macroeconomic blueprint for economic development has become increasingly clear. These macroeconomic, sector and market changes have brought new challenges and development opportunities. Freddy Man, General Manager of Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Technique Customer Center in Greater China, said, "We will continue to expand our support commitment for distributors in 2016 and adjust our strategic focus in light of potential market growth areas. We believe that working together will certainly enable us to uncover new opportunities in a wintry market and usher in new growth in the spring."
Wang Jun, General Manager of Anhui Ouzhuo Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd., shared his valuable experience in selling consumables such as drilling tools. Fujian Komatsu Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. also shared its approaches to discovering new growth areas in the construction industry, collecting useful market information and following up key clients.
Kunming Honglida Industrial & Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. won the "FY2016 Overall Excellence Award" for authorized area distributors of Atlas Copco on the back of its excellent performance in marketing sales and distributor appraisal benchmarks.
