The Story of the First Atlas Copco Tool in China
The four-axis cylinder head screw machine in the picture, though looks very ordinary and old, has been performing its duties for a long time.
This photo was taken on September 26, 2012, the last day when this Atlas Copco equipment retired, as it was replaced by the new QST-series screw machines due to the improvement in technologies.
Almost all YTO staff have seen this screw machine on their first working days. However, no one knows exactly how many twists and turns it had made over the past three decades. Witnessing the comings and goings of many employees, it kept operating till the last day, at the pace of 120 seconds / engine. Let’s bid farewell to our partner on the day when it retires with honor.
This screw machine, a product of Atlas Copco, deserves our proud and praise.
Farewell, our hero. Your personality remains with us, which will lead us to sail further!
