Liselotte Duthu appointed VP Group Controller

January 22, 2018

Atlas Copco has appointed Liselotte Duthu as Vice President Group Controller, effective May 1, 2018. She succeeds Anders Pehrsson, who is retiring.

"Liselotte has vast experience from many different managerial positions in several countries, and she has shown excellent leadership and collaboration skills and a deep understanding of how Atlas Copco works," said Hans Ola Meyer, Senior Vice President Controlling and Finance and Chief Financial Officer. "This makes her well suited for the role. Please join me in wishing her all the best."

Liselotte Duthu, a Swedish citizen, is currently on a three-year project assignment as the Group's Digital Transformation Officer, reporting to President and CEO Mats Rahmström. In this role she supports the business areas in their digital transformation, a key aspect in increasing the Group's speed in all areas. In addition, she is managing the recently announced Group IT Services organization, a task that she will hand over to the new Group IT Services head, Marcus Hvied, in May 2018.

Marcus Hvied will, as a consequence of Liselotte Duthu's appointment as Group Controller, not report to her as previously announced but to the new Chair of the Group IT Services Board, one of the business area presidents. Who that will be will be decided shortly.

Because of the importance of digital transformation, Liselotte Duthu will remain in that role in parallel to her new Group Controller role.

Liselotte Duthu began her Atlas Copco career in 1985 in the Group Finance department in Stockholm. Since then she has held the position as Customer Center Business Controller for Mining and Rock Excavation Technique in France and Sweden and for Compressor Technique in France. She has been Financial Manager for Industrial Technique's product company in Sweden, Divisional Controller for the Oil-free Air division in Belgium, and Business Area Controller for Compressor Technique, also in Belgium. After that, she was a well-appreciated Vice President for Holding in China for several years.

Liselotte Duthu has a B.Sc. in International Business Administration from Uppsala University, Sweden.
