Atlas Copco launches new surface drill rig PowerROC T40

Today, Atlas Copco launched new top-hammer drill rig PowerROC T40 in the Chinese market. Over 60 customers, distributors and media representatives attended the new product launch. With its high productivity, PowerROC T40 is ideal for drilling application on construction and quarry.

With various application areas and a fast positioning, PowerROC T40 is user friendly and features a folding boom and a hole range of 89-127mm. With robust components and low maintenance costs PowerROC T40 provides consistent performance in various applications. It is equipped with RD 22S, an Atlas Copco basic line of rock drill. RD 22S is a 22 kW impact power rock drill, making the rig more reliable when drilling and easier to be maintained.

So far, the first PowerROC T40 drill rig has been sold, and we received good feedback on its performance. We believe that the new drill rig will see greater demand in the Chinese market.
