
The Role
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· To provide day to day manufacturing support to fastener production operations.
· Review/analyze production processes and make recommendations for improvement actions.
· To support and oversee the OEE improvement activities.
· Undertake process improvement activities, monitor improvements and report on their success.
· Document manufacturing operation instructions and provide relevant training as required.
· Assist with new manufacturing process design.
· Assist with the investigation and resolution of product and process concerns.
· Support update of drawings through change request process.
· Ensure that all new manufacturing processes/process improvements are verified in accordance with IATF16949 requirements.
· Utilized data analysis/monitoring to support problem solving activities.
· Assist in the APQP process for new product development.
· To support supplier development with aim of improving tooling quality and optimization.
· Provide breakdown support for production and maintenance.
· To promote safe working practices.
· Other ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by manager.

What we expect of you?
Education / Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Good technical education and a good practical skill base.
- Experience of working with CAD is desirable.
- Must hold or be willing to work towards a degree in a relevant engineering qualification.

- Conscientious, positive attitude to quality and workmanship.
- Methodical approach with good attention to detail when planning and carrying out tasks.
- Good in written, verbal and presentation skills in English.

- Good communication skills.
- Keen to learn new things quickly and have an interest in career development and training within the workplace.
