Bring your curiosity to work as our next Engineering Team Leader (product). You will be part of our XXX team reporting to [Hiring manager title]. In this role, your mission is to [briefly describe the main mission in one clear sentence]. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

As a Design team Leader, it will be your mission to lead the design team to provide product design solutions for the project team, to design and develop portable compressors, air treatment solutions, OEM and customized solutions for target markets such as China, SEA, ME, Oceania, South America, Africa etc....  At the same time, you also need to build a strong team to provide efficient and reliable design solutions.

Job description included but not limited
岗位职责包括但不限于：
1.    You and your team will deeply participate in the project initiation process, collect information from various aspects such as market trends and customer needs. Collaborate with the design team and marketing etc.., and conduct a comprehensive assessment of the project’s feasibility, potential benefits and risks. 
您和您的团队将深入参与产品开发过程，从市场部和项目主管处得到产品设计需求，分析并提供不同的技术设计方案，并将选定方案进行设计与验证。
2.    Design “first time right” by designing for assembly (cooperation with production), designing for manufacturing (cooperation with suppliers), designing for service (cooperation with PTS) and designing for superior performance (cooperation with project leader).
通过为装配设计（与生产合作）、为制造设计（与供应商合作）、为服务设计（与PTS合作）和为卓越性能设计（与项目主管合作）实现“第一次正确”的设计。
3.    According to CtP2.0, lead and guide design engineers fully consider the effective validation of technical solutions, including the early validation of knowledge gap, and manage to close them before PPI phase.
根据CtP2.0，领导和指导设计工程师充分考虑技术方案的有效验证，包括知识差距的早期验证，并设法在PPI阶段之前将其关闭。
4.    Comprehensively coordinate design resources to provide effective design resources for different projects at different project phase to ensure that the projects can be completed on time, with quality, cost and expense. Organize the design team to effectively collaborate on design and verification work, review the design with DR and project leader to ensure that the design proceeds fully in the established direction.

5.    Work closely with the project team leader to ensure that the project team and the design team work together efficiently to complete product development.
与项目团队主管紧密合作，确保项目团队和设计团队以高效的合作方式完成产品开发。
6.    Provide customer-customized solutions for each CC and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that customer-customized products can be delivered on time.
为每个CC提供客户定制的解决方案，并与相关部门协作，确保客户定制的产品能够按时交付。
7.    Maintain existing products to ensure they can be produced and delivered, handle the quality topics which are related to design.
维护现有产品，确保其能够生产和交付，处理与设计相关的质量问题。
8.    Cooperate with the purchasing and quality departments to do localization or re-sourcing to cost down parts’ price to achieve the annual goals of CC7.
配合采购和质量部门进行国产化或再采购，降低零部件价格，实现CC7年度目标。

Competence and qualification
岗位任职能力与资格要求：

Experience Requirements经验要求 
•    At least 5 years’ working experience in engineering, or experience equivalent.
至少5年工程工作经验，或相关经验。
•    At least 3 years’ leading and coaching team experience.
至少3年领导和指导团队的经验。

Knowledge / Educational requirements知识/学历要求
•    Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering, graduated in the field of Thermodynamics, compressors, cryogenics.
机械工程专业本科或硕士学历，热力学、压缩机、低温相关专业毕业
•    Mandarin mother tongue and good English level for both oral and writing.
普通话为母语，良好的英语口语和写作能力。
•    Knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Engineering PLM & CAD tools and ERP systems is an asset.
熟悉微软办公软件。具有工程PLM、CAD工具和ERP系统经验者优先

Atlas Copco (Wuxi) Compressor Co., Ltd., 100% invested by Atlas Copco Group, is a product company within the Compressor Technique and Power Technique business area. It develops and manufactures Atlas Copco brand products for the global market.

The production center has two sustainable lean production sites and a state-of-art R&D center in Wuxi. It develops and manufactures oil-free and big size compressors, desiccant dryers and filters in Plant 1, core compressor components in state-of-the-art Wuxitec factory. Develops and manufactures portable diesel and electric driven compressors, generators, water pumps, lighting towers, small to medium sized industrial air and medical vacuum in Plant 2.

Atlas Copco (Wuxi) Compressor Co., Ltd.'s output has increased substantially since operation started in 1994 and is now one of the biggest and most modern compressor factory in the region.
