Quality engineer

• Monitor and improve in-process quality performance in manufacturing
• Lead structured problem solving (8D, RCA) for shopfloor issues and promote AI usage in problem solving.
• Support production team and PQE team on daily quality issues and customer complaints
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (FTTFR, scrap, rework, COPQ reduction)
• Analyze quality data and identify improvement opportunities
• Support NPI and ensure stable production ramp-up quality
• Support supplier-related quality issues when required
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and internal QMS, Hazloc and other product compliance requirements
• Leading weekly assembly process quality meeting on SIM3
• Participate in SHEQ activities, to contribute company SHEQ improvement.

• • Solid knowledge of: 8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP
  • Experience in leading shopfloor problem solving
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly processes
  • Digital & AI Capability
  • Basic experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)
  • Ability to apply AI in daily work, such as:
  • Structured quality reporting (8D)
  • Data analysis & insight generation
  • Reporting & documentation
  • Experience with Excel / Power BI is a plus
  • Strong data mindset,logic and continuous improvement thinking
  • Influencing skills, cross-functional Collaborative mindset
  • Fluent communication in Chinese and English
  • Self starting, initiative taking.

  Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Materials or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within manufacturing
